Saturn’s Rings Are Disappearing

In 2025, Saturn’s rings be completely edge on in our sky and will not be visible to us. The jewel of the solar system will become a bit boring to look at through a telescope, but a number of faint moons will be easier to see at this time. This brief disappearance happens roughly every 14 years because of the planets tilt and it's orbital path relative to ours. By the end of 2025, the rings will start to reveal themselves again and will become a show stopper in any telescope.
