NGC 457, The Owl Cluster

This grouping of stars is an open cluster that has many names, the most popular are the Owl Cluster and the ET Cluster. It is located in the Cassiopeia constellation approximately 7900 light years away. It can be seen in small telescopes and is located just below the middle of the “W” in Cassiopeia.
